Accessing Farmland is a barrier to many farmers.  Beginning farmers have difficulty purchasing or leasing land, and seasoned farmers have difficulty negotiating cash rents.  In the map below, you can see what the average cash rent payment is for non-irrigated crop land in Northeast Ohio.  Keep in mind, this is an average.  Some areas may be lower due to rents to family members, and others are actually higher depending on who owns the land.
