Farm Tours

Countryside Initiative Farm tours offer a glimpse into the day and the life of real farmers and small-scale farming in Ohio.

Learn what sustainable agriculture is and why local food matters. See firsthand what it takes to get dinner to your table. Get to know your farmer – your local food providers.

The Countryside Initiative Farms are asked to participate in hundreds of tours per year, we like to compensate them for their time and dedication to this program. A fee for tours is charged to offset the time our farmers spend away from daily work and chores while doing community tours.

The fee for group/school single farm tour is $50/farm.*

Our Educational Tour Program consists of tours of 2 farms and a Countryside Conservancy Presentation geared toward your group's programming/interest, done at our office or at a park picnic area, you choose, for $150.*

*Additional fees may apply for large groups.

Scholarships are available for qualifying groups.

In addition, there are dozens of free sightseeing and hiking opportunities right here in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which we would be happy to help you arrange.
