Howe Meadow Opening Day!

Countryside Farmers' Market at Howe Meadow will open for the season on Saturday, May 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The market features over 70 vendors selling an array of local food. This season, we're excited to announce the addition of more than 15 new vendors. They will bring a range of new products to the market, including fermented foods, ethnic eats, beautiful terrariums, hand-crafted wooden bowls, micro-greens, and vegan spreads. The vendors newly joining us at Howe Meadow are Akron Coffee Roasters; Fermentation Girl; Fire and Ash; Gary's Granola; Ingmar Rauschert; Lauren's Artistic Epiphytes; Log Cabin Farm; Martha's Farm; Native Roots; Plantscription; Quarry Hill Orchards; Rainbow Gardens; Red Lotus Foods; Spice Acres; Spring Wood Handcrafts; The Natural Body; and Three Sisters Momo.

Spring Fling Downtown Market!

Countryside Conservancy celebrates the arrival of spring with a special downtown Akron farmers’ market at the Akron Art Museum and Akron-Summit County Public Library on Saturday, April 11 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The two locations will house over 40 local farmers, food producers, and artisans providing seasonal foods and handmade gifts. Visitors will find fresh spring produce; pasture-raised beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and bison; artisan cheeses; handmade breads, pastries, and pasta and much more.  Read More...
