New Volunteer Opportunity- Be a Market Ambassador!

Looking for a meaningful way to get involved with Countryside’s Farmers’ Markets? We are recruiting volunteers to be Market Ambassadors at our farmers’ markets. Market Ambassadors

Greet customers as they enter the market. Rove throughout duration of market to assist customers as needed. Provide information, orientation, and general customer service to create an excellent market experience for customers. Make meaningful connections with customers. Provide feedback to Market Managers post-market. Must become familiar with Countryside’s programs, market information, and general park information.

• Time Commitment: Flexible. Long-term commitment preferred. At least one shift per month preferred.
• Shifts: Saturdays 9 a.m. - noon at Howe Meadow and Old Trail School; Thursdays 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Highland Square; Sundays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Countryside Public Market.
• Location: Varies depending on market. Howe Meadow (Cuyahoga Valley National Park); Old Trail School - Bath, OH; Akron - Highland Square; Akron - downtown.
• Extra Training Needed: Shadowing and on-the-job training.
