A BioBlitz is a 24 hour event during which teams of volunteers -- scientists, teachers, students, and families work together to find and identify as many species of plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms as possible. Join the National Park Service and National Geographic for the National Park's BioBlitz and Biodiversity Festival on the weekend of May 20-21. The Biodiversity Festival takes place May 21 at Howe Meadow, alongside Countryside's Farmers' Market. Picnic in the National Park

Saturday, June 18

Join millions of people at national parks across the nation and enjoy a picnic at your favorite spot in Cuyahoga Valley. Gather your picnic goodies at the Farmers’ Market at Howe Meadow that morning… either by visiting your favorite vendors and putting your own picnic together, or let us help with that! We’ll be taking orders for picnic lunches for pickup at the market. Not sure where the best picnic spots in the park are? Countryside will take care of that, too, by providing a map showing where you can enjoy your picnic. Maybe you’ll discover a new favorite place in the park you’ve never visited before.
