Products: Nearly every vegetable from asparagus to zucchini, eggs from free range chickens and pasture raised meat chickens.

Farm History: Mike Hiener was raised on a vegetable farm near Marietta, Ohio and is (at least) a fourth generation grower. Mike and Diane bought their farm in Ashtabula County in 1996 and have steadily built a business known for its quality produce.

Soil: Silt loam glacial till.

Water Use: Pond water for transplanting and dripline irrigation.

Weed Control: Plastic mulch, hand weeding.

Pest Control: Limited spray use only to save a crop. We use the safest alternative since we eat what we grow, too.

Fun Facts: Diane is a practicing veterinarian and Mike is a practicing attorney and acting judge.
