We're very excited to be celebrating the 100th birthday of the National Park Service with a Picnic in the Park!
Countryside is offering a limited number of special picnic lunches. Picnics are designed to serve two and include three dishes, as well as vouchers for
picnickers to select desserts and beverages from participating market vendors. Ingredients for the picnic dishes will be sourced from Howe Meadow market
vendors and crafted by local chefs with a demonstrated commitment to local sourcing and seasonal preparation.Chef Doug Katz, of fire food and drink,
Provenance and Katz Club Diner fame, Chef/Farmer
Ben Bebenroth, of The Spice Companies, and Chef Ernie Cornelius, Executive Chef at d.b.a.,
will each be preparing a dish for the picnics.

Participants also have the option of making their picnic complete with a special edition Countryside/National Park Service Centennial tote bag to carry
their picnic meal and other goodies from the market, special edition Countryside/National Park Service Centennial water bottles - perfect for your
cold beverage selection on Picnic Day, or special edition Countryside/National Park Service Centennial stainless steel camp mugs - so sharp!
Interested parties can purchase their lunches and swag at: squareup.com/store/countrysideconservancy. Ordering deadline is Thursday, August 11th. Pick up for picnic lunches will be available at Countryside Farmers’ Market at Howe Meadow during market hours, 9am to noon.
We've got tons of other fun planned for you, as well. It's our annual Tomato Tasting ~ one of our most popular events of the season. Crafty Mart will be popping up again with several fabulous vendors. And Lorelei Bailey will be treating us to a boozy tomato celebration with a Bloody Mary Craft Cocktails class.
