Countryside Farmers' Markets Jr. Chef Program
New in 2008!
Back to Farmers' Market Main
The Countryside Conservancy sponsored Countryside Farmers’ Markets (CFM) are excited about the addition of a new program for 2008: Countryside Farmers’ Markets Junior Chefs Program.
The program is intended to connect youth with local farmers and artisans and the fresh foods they provide, as well as introduce them to basic cooking skills in order to get them excited about healthy, nutritious fare.
The program is scheduled five times at CFM at Heritage Farms in Peninsula, and three times at CFM at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens. A new partnership with Old Trail School makes the Saturday morning program possible, and our ongoing partnership with Stan Hywet brings the program to life on Thursday evenings.
See below for a list of dates, chefs and fees, or download a brochure here.
