Countryside Initiative Request for Proposals
Schedule of Preproposal Farm Tours

Two tours of each farm offered for lease in 2005 will be conducted during July. The tours will be very helpful to anyone preparing a proposal to lease. National Park Service and Countryside Conservancy staff will be available to discuss farm buildings and fields, and to answer any questions you may have regarding the attached RFP. It is recommended that proposers attend a tour of the farm they hope to lease.

Please notify CVCC staff of your intent to attend one or more of the tours scheduled for July 11,12,13,15 by July 8; and tours scheduled for July 18, 19, 21, 22 by July 15. You may contact CVCC at 330.657.2542 or by email. Page 10 of the RFP contains a map showing the location of the farms in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

While these farm tours will be relatively informal, we will try to follow a reasonably organized sequence of information presentation and discussion. Hence, you will get the most from this opportunity by arriving on time, taking the “tour”, and participating in the question and answer process.
